I started playing with chocolates in my home kitchen to help me pass the time during lockdown whilst I was on furlough from my job as a sugar artist.
I have been making bespoke celebraton cakes for over 14years, and previously to that I have always worked in a kitchen enviroment.
When Covid19 hit, we had to temporarily close down the little cake shop that I work in due to the restrictions.
After many months of being out of work and filling my time with DIY and volunteering I needed something to get my creativity flowing again. I took the little savings I had and decided to take the plunge and go all in with setting up my own business!
When I am not making chocolate or cakes you can usually find me either attempting to pry my two teenage daughters away from their phones, or running! Well, all that chocolate and cake has to be burned off somehow!! I am currently training for my 3rd and 4th marathons this year!
And if you're wondering why "Little Redbird" that's because I am a little "lady" (or "bird") with bright red hair!
